Here are the Top 12 Wedding Venues In Nottinghamshire
Swancar Farm Country House
Here are the top 10 wedding venues in Nottingham reviewed by me, Duncan William, a professional magician who has performed at all of them.
The first is of course, Swancar Farm Country House nestled away just north of Wollaton. It set amongst 250 acres of beautiful countryside with a winding path up to its gate. It can accommodate both large and small gatherings and is an exclusive venue for the day. There is new limited onsite accommodation for the wedding guests and a few of their friends, and it’s a traditional farmhouse with a beautifully converted barn for dancing and celebrations. The onsite caterers offer fantastic meals and there is also a wood-fired pizza oven for evening food as well.
You can easily get there from Derby, Nottingham or Leicester, and there’s plenty of parking facilities on a gravel drive. I would also add that their employees and staff are extremely friendly and you can visit one of their open days throughout the year.
Westwood Lodge Hotel
Next up in no particular order is Westwood Lodge Hotel set within 700 acres of parkland within Nottinghamshire, it can host up to 250 guests, although often it is not an exclusive wedding venue, although you can pay to have exclusive wedding packages.
There’s onsite accommodation as you can expect from a hotel and it is a listed building with modern facilities inside.
Bestwood Lodge Hotel
You can also attend Bestwood Lodge Hotel as an independent guest to Dine, and there’s plenty of parking around with good levels of security as well. Holme Pierrepont Hall is slightly further out within the area of colic. It’s in its own land of 30 acres of parkland and can be a little bit on difficult side to find, but can accommodate up to 120 guests. Unfortunately, there’s no onsite accommodation, but there are hotels and bed and breakfast nearby such as Blots Country Club, which offers accommodation. Holme Pierrepont Hall is an exclusive wedding venue and is a historic Tudor manner with manicured gardens perfect for wedding photographs. Although they don’t have onsite caterers.

There’s large windows exposed brickwork and beautiful surrounding gardens for photographs. Much like the nearby Perkins, Carriage Hall is renowned for its great food and there’s plenty of onsite parking prices start from £5,500 for venue higher and is a popular venue alongside Swancar within Nottingham.
